Metal and Metal Composite Column Covers

SAF Metal Fabrication is an experienced fabricator of metal & ACM column covers and beam wraps.  In addition, we can custom fabricate architectural bollards and apply a custom finish as well.  SAF makes it easy by using a pre-engineered approach in our 1000 Series (butt joint) and 2000 Series (reveal joint) column covers.

M-Series Column Covers

M-Series Metal Column Covers are fabricated out of metal sheets (most often aluminum or stainless steel).  In addition to 57 standard painted colors offered by SAF, we also offer computerized custom color matching and a variety of popular anodized colors.  Choose from sheet, perforated and embossed materials:

M1000 Series Column Cover (DETAILS)

The M-1000 Series Composite Column Cover is a "butt joint" column cover that uses a keyhole effect where the bolt from the male attachment is the key.  When placed through the teardrop shaped eyehole, gravity pulls the female half of the column cover down to lock it into place.  These can be fabricated using any available metal (aluminum, stainless, etc...)

M2000 Series Column Cover (DETAILS)

The M-2000 Series Metal Column Cover is a “reveal joint” column cover.  The sections of the column covers are bolted to an angle that is attached to the structural beam.  A gap is left between the sections for bolting the columns to the angles.  This gap can then be filled with caulk, filled with a channel, or left open.  These can be fabricated using any available metal (aluminum, stainless, etc...).

C-Series Column Covers

C-Series Metal Column Covers are fabricated out of metal composite material and usually out of aluminum composite materials (ACM).  In addition to the full array of popular standard colors offered in aluminum composite material by Reynobond, Alpolic, or Alucobond, SAF also offers custom color service with a slightly longer lead time.  Choose from:

C1000 Column Cover (DETAILS)
