Perimeter Systems Meets Challenges with Designer Gutters

SANFORD, NC (March 17, 2004) - Perimeter Systems, a division of Southern Aluminum Finishing Company, Inc., recently completed two successful residential projects on new homes in Fayetteville, N.C. and Virginia Beach, Va. featuring their Designer Series Residential Gutter and Cornice systems. Both of these projects demonstrate the durability and aesthetic appeal this line of aluminum products brings to residential construction.

The Pennick residence project, located in North Carolina, required a substantial gutter system with a reliable drainage structure to compensate for a number of run-off concerns. Perimeter Systems installed a colonial profile gutter system with a copper fascia finish. This marriage of elegance and durability made these roofing accessories a welcome part of the homes architectural design, and an ideal way to dispel excess water.

In Virginia, Perimeter Systems introduced the colonial profile cornice and concealed gutter system to the 7,100 square foot Debord home. Positioned on the beach of the Chesapeake Bay, both architectural style and durability amid environmental hazards were critical. With that in mind, Perimeter Systems installed their heavy-duty aluminum gutters and support system concealed by an eight-inch colonial profile cornice with complementing soffits and moulds. The finished product was in line with the home’s upscale design and rugged enough to endure the east coast hurricanes and high winds.
