Installation/Press-Loc Coping
 
 

A. Snap-on decorative aluminum coping, 10’
lengths. Joint treatment consists of a 3/8” expansion
reveal, 6” wide concealed gutter splice plate
and gaskets. Press coping onto compression and
snap into position.
B. Concealed Splice Plate(s) installed at every joint.
Apply gasket strips to full width and both sides prior
to snaping on coping.
C. Compression Cleats, 16 ga. galvanized steel
installed @ 60” centers and at all joint locations.
Fasten with (4) #12 x 1-1/2” wood screw. Position
compression cleat with smaller spring clip facing
roof side.
D. Front Miter Cleats, 16 ga. galvanized steel installed
with (2) #12 x 1-1/2” wood screw. Front miter cleats
are indentified by their larger tension clip. Front
miter cleats are not requied for copings widths less
than 10”
D1. Rear Miter Cleats, 16 ga. galvanized steel installed
with (2) #12 x 1-1/2” wood screw. Rear miter cleats
are indentified by their smaller tension clip. Rear
miter cleats are not requied for copings widths
E. Welded outside corner miter. Maximun leg length is
30”. Joint treatment consists of a 3/8” expansion
reveal, 6” wide concealed gutter splice plate and
gaskets. Press coping miter onto compression
cleat and miter cleats and snap into position.
F. Welded inside corner miter. Maximun leg length is
30”. Joint treatment consists of a 3/8” expansion
reveal, 6” wide concealed gutter splice plate and
gaskets. Press coping miter onto compression
cleat and miter cleats and snap into position.
G. Welded end cap. Maximun leg length is 30”. Joint
treatment consists of a 3/8” expansion reveal, 6”
wide concealed gutter splice plate and gaskets.
Press coping end cap onto compression cleat and
