Designer Series Cornice, Design 15

Cornice Design 15 utilizes large scrolled dentils custom designed for the project shown in the photograph. The cornice boasts a large entablature with a small depth and features our Designer Series Colonial gutter that has been customized. Often, we are asked can we modify the fascia of our Designer Series commercial gutters and the answer (in most cases) is yes. Cornice Design 15 is an excellent example of such modifications. In lieu of the custom dentils our optional components include our standard dentils, flutes, and engravings presented on page 56.

Gabled ends are finished with the cornice completely wrapping the structure as shown in the photograph and the elevation on page 39. The rake cornice for gables utilize the cornice’s main components simplifying installation.

Framing shown is merely a suggestion and you may frame your building eaves in the manner necessary to suit your criteria -- but the location of the fastening points of the gutter and cornice trims must be held.
