Designer Series Cornice, Design 7

Cornice Design 7 provides a small entablature with a large depth -- features a frieze, a double set of convex mouldings, optional vented or nonvented soffit and features our Designer Series Batten commercial gutter. Optional components such as dentils, flutes, and engravings may be added, see page 56.

As with many of our cornice designs, this cornice easily adapts our concealed gutter / internal drainage system allowing you to eliminate exposed downspouts -- the gutter’s Batten Fascia blends well into the overall cornice.

Gabled ends can be finished with the cornice completely wrapping the structure as shown in the elevation of the classic design (opposing page) The rake cornice for gables features the same profiles as the main cornice.

Framing shown is merely a suggestion and you may frame your building eaves in the manner necessary to suit your criteria -- but the location of the fastening points of the gutter and cornice trims must be held.
